Hello.
First, a tribute to 8yo Stradivarius, winner of a record 20 Group races, including three Gold Cups, and two £1000000 bonuses for exceptional staying performances in successive seasons. A true star, beloved by racing enthusuasts. Enjoy your retirement superstar!
So, how did my 2022 season go? Well, I did less betting and only got to two live meetings, at York on Nunthorpe day and to Catterick where a fruitless afternoon of excellent racing actually cost me an overall profit for the season!
I had 19 winners, including Pogo twice, Escobar at 20-1, and Alcohol Free and Intrinsic Bond both at 14-1, the latter giving Tracy Waggott her greatest win in Ripon’s Great St Wilfrid Handicap.
Overall, I had a loss of 7%.
