My jumps season 2020-21

No meetings attended this season for obvious reasons!

BRISTOL DE MAI….my favourite class act, winner of the Betfair Chase for the third time, rated 166, aged 10yo, having won over 800 grand in prize money

Hello.

Well, it’s been a tough time for one and all over the last year and the sport of horseracing has done itself proud, along with broadcasters, to bring race fans such an enjoyable jumps season. Thanks everyone!

My personal highlights? Certainly, FRODON’S win in the King George at Kempton, brilliantly ridden by Bryony Frost. And the Irish demolition job at the Cheltenham Festival, engineered by the terrific Rachael Blackmore. Two star jockeys!

And what of my betting prowess?!

Well, I had 17 winners, including SCEAU ROYAL and ALLMANKIND, both twice.

My biggest odds winners were REGAL ENCORE and SKY PIRATE, both at 14-1.

My most successful day’s racing was Cheltenham Festival Day 2 when SKY PIRATE won. He was my only winner at Cheltenham, primarily because I avoided the Irish, but, surprisingly, I did well overall, with excellent priced eachway bets on the likes of FIDDLERONTHEROOF, FUSIL RAFFLES, SHANTOU FLYER, NUBE NEGRA and PETIT MOUCHOIR.

However, money is only a minor part of jumps racing. I continue to love watching my old favourites such as LIL ROCKERFELLER, SILVER STREAK and DOUBLE SHUFFLE, and all the rest of my friends.

To all stable staff, trainers, owners, jockeys and horses….thank you!

By the way, is it worth following my blog as regards making money out of betting?

Well, overall, I made a PROFIT of 0.29%!

So, don’t give up the day job, eh!

Thanks for reading.
